la tulipe

I think the perfume gods listened when I hinted that Byredo Parfums should come to Canada. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted these near perfect bottles (seriously, check out their packaging) all lined up side by side. Good things come to those who wait patiently.

La Tulipe is like no other aroma I've encountered. I also love Blanche and Pulp

Dior's Crème de Rose lip balm also smells amazing (I'm a fan of anything rose-scented). I find that my lips are quite dry during the day. Applying lip balm before bedtime really helps to soften my lips throughout the day.

Some of my favourite nail colours are neutral tones like Naked by Deborah Lippmann, which is beige with a touch of pink. It's perfect for trying this black french tip design (image: Monique Lhuillier A/W 11-12) -- so simple and understated.

Leah Duncan's work comes pretty close to perfection, from the technique to the motifs, the colour palettes, and the objects that they adorn. Tea towels? Sure. Pillow covers? Yes, please. Scarves? Hell, yeah. Go treat yourself to something nice from her shop already.

I never seem to get bored of watching the sun rise and set.  To me, it is honestly the most beautiful time of the day.
